So, today I had a much needed girl's night out with my bestest buddy, Laur, and I had every intention of coming home at a reasonable hour & getting my Insanity workout in. But of course, that didn't happen. I'm not too upset because we had a great time & we don't get together as much as we should! Plus, we ate lots of good food, and had some wine, so I don't know how productive my workout would have been anyway.
I don't want to miss a day, and I don't want to make today my OFF day, so I have an idea. I think what I'm going to do (or attempt to do) is do my workout that was scheduled for today (Plyo) tomorrow when I get up, and then instead of the recovery DVD do a 3 mile run instead. I know recovery is important, but the weather is so nice here this week that I really would like to get back out there & get my legs running again! I'm thinking if I do both of those & still feel good, then I could always throw in the recovery DVD later in the evening to wind everything down. We'll see about that. LOL 'Cause of course I have to fit all this in while the NCAA tournament is on!! WOOHOO!! :) Yes, I took the day off tomorrow!
Hope my plan works out tomorrow, but I'll be gettin' my Insanity on one way or the other!! Dig deep y'all!!
