OK, so I was only planning on posting on the days I worked out to let you all know how it was going. But just like with my workouts, I seem to want to post real quick even on my rest day. I went out to dinner last night with my family to celebrate my brother Ken's 40th!! b-day, so of course I went a little overboard with my eating. I am now feeling a little guilty & have even toyed with the idea of doing cardio abs later today to help with my guilt. But I'm also thinking that my body needs to recover & that's why Shaun gives us a rest day! So I might just rest like I'm supposed to & get ready to start week 2 with power tomorrow!!
I noticed I'm not quite as sore as I've been which I hope is a good thing. My sacroiliac joint was sore last night so hopefully I didn't strain anything too bad. Put a heating pad on it last night so we'll see how it's feeling today. I'm not gonna let anything slow me down! I have a date with my man Shaun T tomorrow through Saturday & I'm gonna be ready! :)
Can't seem to sleep past 7:45am on the weekends no matter what time I went to bed. That's early for me BTW! Small changes to keep an eye on as I move forward & start to look for how Insanity is working for me!! I'm also amazed at the fact that I worked out for 6 days in a row!! I've never done that with any program or any gym membership! And to even toy with the idea of doing more exercises today is crazy coming from someone who a few years ago was a professional couch potato!!
This weekend was my "TOM" so I'm not overly excited about the scale tomorrow, but I'll still do my weekly weigh-ins just to stay true to myself & to see if any progress shows there. I'd love to see some loss but even if I don't I won't get discouraged. OK, maybe I will a little, but I'm not gonna stop!
Tomorrow is time to DIG DEEPER & KEEP PRESSING PLAY!!!!
