Insanity- Day 3

Hello friends.  Today was day 3 of Insanity, Cardio Power & Resistance.  This workout program has been crazy so far.  During the workouts I sometimes feel like I can't keep up so I decide to slow down to get my form right & try to do as many as I can.  Then after I'm done I feel like "that's it??".  Not sure if I'm pushing myself quite as hard as I can, but since it's my first week through I'm going to just do the best I can & then come next week I can really BRING IT!!  My upper body strength isn't that great either, so today was a bit of a struggle with all of the crazy push-up & floor sprints he was having us do.  But I'm really loving the variety & I can't wait to start next week as a "pro".  LOL  The one thing I was able to do a few more of than with day 1 were the power jumps!  I had no idea how to get my knees up that far but today I just went for it & tried it.  I did a few really well & the rest my knees weren't that high, but hopefully that will come with time!!

Can I tell you the one crazy thing I've noticed so far, only a few days into this workout?  The past two mornings when my alarm went off I didn't keep hitting the snooze alarm & going back to bed like I usually do.  (We're talking a good 45 minutes usually!!)  Instead I woke right up (today actually 10 minutes before my alarm) and went on my computer for a little bit before getting up.  Could my energy level be getting better that quickly??  I'm not a morning person so I wouldn't be able to do Insanity first thing, but I'm loving that I am waking up, getting up a little bit earlier, and actually having time to make a healthy breakfast & lunch to get my day started right!!

Can't wait to start seeing results on the physcial side as well!!  Soon enough!!

This workout is insane for so many reasons but most of all it's because he kicks your ass but you can't wait to come back for more!!
